I found this park while looking for an RV place close to downtown where we were meeting relatives. I read the reviews here, looked at the image on Google Earth, and decided to give it a try. Despite the good reviews, we were still a little nervous as it sits next to the freeway and is basically an extension of the Main Street Station Casino parking lot, thus wondering how safe it would be. Our anxiety went up when, at the last minute (literally 20 minutes before departure) our babysitter was not able to watch our kids, thus we would have to bring them with (driving in from Phoenix). Once we arrived, however, I became more comfortable and by the end of our 2 nights, realized our worrying was not necessary. The park was clean and kid friendly as we saw several other families staying in the park. Positives: Close to downtown casinos, safe (saw security driving through frequently, and you can't beat the rate. Negatives: Close to freeway and the noise was audible (I solved by using ear plugs the first night & turning the roof fan on the second night). Second bad thing was that we were near a garbage dumpster and at some point in the night or very early AM, a truck came into the park and emptied it. Was very loud. We will definitely stay here again as you cannot beat the location or price.

What an outstanding place to stay! The grounds are immaculate and everything is kept to very high standards. We had a waterfront site (pull in front first to take advantage of the views--the only back in sites I noticed were those on the outside edges of the park) with tremendous views of the surrounding mountains. Everyone we encountered could not have been nicer. From the employees to the residents/owners of the place, they were all extremely friendly (we even had a family pull up in their boat and ask us if we wanted a ride around the lakes - great experience & view of the park!). We have two children (ages 11 & 8) and they had a blast between swimming in the heated pool (which was never crowded) to riding their bikes around the park. Unlike most of the nicer parks in the Palm Springs area, kids are very welcome here. I do not know about WiFi access, but our Sprint 3G internet connected just fine. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice inside. Not sure about the golf, but when we wanted to play tennis, we just went to the courts and if they were available, you just start playing. We will definitely return to this resort if you are looking for a resort experience with your RV, I recommend staying at this place.

We loved this park! Nice setting, nice big trees, and plenty of hiking trails accessible from the campground. The owners/office staff were very friendly and seemed to take great pride in the park. It appeared as though there were some long term residents, but everything was well kept and the grounds were clean. Sites are separated by trees so you get a sense of privacy. We will definitely go back - probably in the summer to escape the Phoenix heat!

Great park for a 1 or 2 night stay. Plenty of hiking trails to explore Picacho Peak and the various caves (not big ones) in and around the mountain. Campground (we were in Loop C) is clean and sites are not too close together. I-10 is visible, but not very loud. There are train tracks near I-10, however, that have trains and their horns going throughout the night. You can't really hear the trains, just the horns. Would stay here again, just have to remember to bring something to drown out the train horn sound.

Great Park! We stayed here twice on our cross country journey - first night out and then last night out (returning to Phoenix). Easy to get to off the I-10. Sites are some of the best we have seen - very level and the connections seem newer. We arrived late both times, but had called ahead for reservations (seemingly not needed this time of year as both times the park was not very full) and we had a packet waiting for us with directions to the site. Only complaint (if you want to call it one) is that they did not have the full breakfast or newspapers their site said they would have. It was explained to me that was because it is the "off season" for the park. No big deal, we just made sure we had breakfast stuff the second time we stayed here. Highly recommend the place.
